Greenfield Deployment
Learn how to deploy in greenfield.
Select the Prisma SD-WAN Greenfield
Deployment option to create and configure the following:
- A new VPC
- A CIDR for the new VPC
- Two subnets (1 Private & 1 Public)
- Two route tables
- Two security groups
- One Elastic IP
- One Prisma SD-WAN ION EC2 instance with the minimum required 4 Interfaces
- From the marketplace listing, clickLaunch with CloudFormation Consoleand create a stack based of the supplied S3 template URL.
- Specify the parameters per your network requirements.
When selecting the ION key and secret key, ensure there are no leading or trailing spaces in the text boxes, else the ION will fail to register with the controller. - Validate that the CFT deployment is successful. Use theOutputsorResourcestabs to find the EC2 instance ID.
- Validate that the ION EC2 instance properly booted by checking the instance screen shot (virtual console output) in the EC2 console. It could take up to five minutes for the console to display the login prompt.
