Brownfield Deployment
Learn how to deploy Prisma SD-WAN on an existing transit gateway for AWS.
Selecting the Prisma SD-WAN Brownfield Deployment
option will create and configure the following:
- Two security groups
- One Elastic IP
- One Prisma SD-WAN ION EC2 instance with the minimum required 4 interfaces
AWS has a brownfield template for deploying
a Prisma SD-WAN ION device to a pre-existing VPC or Transit Gateway.
- Select the version, AWS region, and deployment option of choice.Choose Prisma SD-WAN Brownfield Deployment under Delivery Method.

For Required Network Configuration, click the drop-down to specify the VPC in which the Prisma SD-WAN ION device is to be deployed.![]()
Enter variables specific to the appropriate VPC/Transit Gateway.Complete the deployment by following the steps after step 3 of the Greenfield Deployment.
