Get Your Advanced WildFire Cloud API Token
To generate a new Advanced WildFire cloud token-based API key, the system provisions
the key directly under your unique Tenant Service Group ID (associated with your
organization) to ensure strong tenant isolation. Under this model, the system
generally provides one free API token per tenant for each product or license type,
such as Firewall or Prisma Access.
When initiating the creation of a new API token through Strata Cloud Manager,
administrators must define a valid service account during creation for the
tenant-based token authentication because it establishes a strict one-to-one mapping
between the service-account and the API token for programmatic access.
Once the creation request is submitted, the system follows a strict synchronization
workflow. Immediately after creation, the new API token will temporarily display a
Pending status, which indicates that the token exists in
the central authoritative database but is still in the process of synchronizing to
the regional caching layers. Once the cache warm-up and data propagation are
complete, the token status will automatically update to
Valid. At this point, the key is fully synchronized, bound to
the specified service account, and ready for use with token-based authentication
