Reboot Panorama Due to Memory Issues

Reboot the Panorama™ management server when the configd process virtual memory exceeds the system limit.
From time to time, the internal configd process responsibile for configuration management and operation of the Panorama™ management server may encounter memory issues. These memory issues may result in degraded Panorama performance, system crashes, or other operational errors that can impact Panorama functionality.
In PAN-OS 11.1 and later releases, a critical system log (MonitorLogsSystem) is generated when the configd process encounters such memory issues instructing you to reboot Panorama. Rather than automatically rebooting Panorama when the configd process encounters memory issues, allowing you to reboot Panorama at your earliest convenience enables you to complete any in-progress work and reduces the operational burden of unintended or unexpected Panorama reboots.
If Panorama regularly generates a critical system log to restart Panoroama due to configd memory issues, Palo Alto Networks recommends contacting Palo Alto Networks Support to generate diagnostic files for Panorama in order to troubleshoot and diagnose the issue.
