Email Alerts
AutoFocus can send alerts to your email account. In
an email alert, the SHA256 hash displays as a hyperlink that opens
the WildFire™ analysis of the sample in AutoFocus.

An email alert contains the following components:
Name | Description |
---|---|
(1) AutoFocus Alerts | The date and time that the alert was sent
in the following format: Month DD, YYYY hh:mm [AM/PM] (UTC) |
(2) Number of alerts | The number of unique samples detected within
the alert period |
(3) For | The name of the support account that created
the alert |
(4) Date (UTC) | The date and time that the sample was detected
in the following format: Month DD, YYYY hh:mm [AM/PM] |
(5) Type | The tag type that triggered the alert (unit42,
public, or private) |
(6) Name | The specific tag that triggered the alert
for the sample |
(7) Verdict | The WildFire verdict assigned to the sample:
malware, grayware, or phishing. To focus your attention
on samples that exhibit malicious behavior, AutoFocus does not send
alerts for benign samples. |
(8) Matching Sample | The SHA256, SHA1, and MD5 hashes of the
sample |
