The PA-500 Series firewalls can operate on one power adapter. All of the PA-500
Series firewalls except for the PA-501 and PA-505 support
the connection of a second power adapter for power redundancy. If two power adapters
are installed and one fails, you can replace the failed power adapter without
interruption.
