New Polling Integration Support
|
The IoT Security polling integration with
Cortex XSOAR now supports the following protocols for
polling:
|
Vulnerability signatures
|
The IoT Security Research team added detections for 306
vulnerabilities this month. Of the 306 vulnerabilities, 50 of them
had a critical CVSS score. You can see a complete list of the CVEs
for which detections have been added in the IoT Security
portal by clicking the blue

Dictionary file update
|
There were three dictionary file updates in January 2025. The
following summarizes what was added in each update:
|
NetBrain Network Management Integration
IoT Security supports integrating with NetBrain to learn about devices from
NetBrain’s CMDB. Once integrated, IoT Security can retrieve device details
from NetBrain’s CMDB and use that information to enrich device information in the
IoT Security assets inventory. IoT Security also creates new devices in
the asset inventory for devices learned through the NetBrain integration.
Cisco DNA Center Integration Enhancement
January 2025
|
IoT Security integrates with Cisco DNA Center
to learn new devices, and to learn about device attributes for existing devices in
your IoT Security asset inventory. After integrating
IoT Security with Cisco DNA Center through Cortex XSOAR, you can
configure device update jobs to run periodically, or after a manual push.
Third-party Integration Status
IoT Security adds a pop-up for you to view the calls for third-party
integrations in the IoT Security portal. On the Integrations Solutions table
under IntegrationsThird-party Integrations, you can hover over the status of an integration to see a summary
of successful and failed calls. The pop-up displays calls for both active
and disabled integrations.
Custom Alerts Enhancement
IoT Security adds "Endpoint Protection" and "Profile Change" as options for
the Change Event condition when configuring Custom Alerts. The "Profile Change"
event happens when a device's profile changes from the "Target Profile" to a
different profile.
