Assigning an issuing template to an application
The owner of an application can apply single or multiple issuing templates to his or her application so that when a certificate is requested, the appropriate issuing template will be used to request the certificate.
These steps assume you already have an existing application. If you need to create a new application, see Create an application.
Note: Resource Owners will only be able to assign issuing templates where they are either identified as a resource consumer on the template, or the template is marked "Allow everyone to consume."
To assign an Issuing Template to an application
- Sign in to Next-Gen Trust Security.
- Click Insights > Applications.
- Select the Application to add an issuing template to.
- Click the Summary tab. The Certificate Issuing Templates associated with this application are listed in the Issuing Templates section.
- To add a new issuing template, click Add next to the Issuing Templates heading.
- Select the issuing template you want to add. Click Add.
- When you're done, click Save.
