Defining recommended settings for an issuing template
Recommended settings provide guidance when users create certificate requests using a specific issuing template. These settings help reduce guesswork and save time by pre-populating commonly used values.
Info: Recommended settings are optional.
Important: You must have appropriate administrative permissions to define or modify recommended settings.
To add recommended settings for an issuing template
- Sign in to Next-Gen Trust Security.
- Click Configuration > Issuing Templates.
- Do one of the following:
- Click New to create a new issuing template.
- From the template list, click the name of an existing issuing template.
- In the Recommended Settings column on the right, click Modify.
- Enter the values you want to recommend for this issuing template.
- Click Save.
The issuing template is updated with the recommended settings you defined.
