Transition from Single Tenant FedRAMP to Multitenant FedRAMP Through
Common Services

Learn how to transition your single tenant Prisma Access FedRAMP to multitenant FedRAMP.
If you are a new cloud-managed Prisma Access FedRAMP customer (or newly migrated) as of August 2023, you can use the following information to transition from a single tenant deployment to a multitenant deployment.
After you receive an email from Palo Alto Networks identifying the license you are activating, including all your add-ons and capacities,
Get Started with Prisma SASE
to begin the activation process.
  1. To transition from a single tenant Panorama-managed Prisma Access to multitenant, select
    Get Started with Prisma SASE
    in your email.
  2. Follow the steps to Activate a License for Single Tenant Cloud-Managed Prisma Access FedRAMP, but do not
    Launch
    the products yet.
  3. Instead, select
    Tenant Management
    .
  4. Select
    +
    Add tenant
    .
  5. Adding a subtenant converts your single tenant to a multitenant hierarchy. Select
    Yes
    to continue.
  6. Manage your tenants through the Prisma SASE Multitenant Portal.
