    Activate Your Strata Cloud Manager Licenses

    Learn how to activate Strata Cloud Manager to manage your security infrastructure from a unified platform.

    If you began using Strata Cloud Manager before these licensing tiers were introduced, your licenses remain supported.
    To begin using Strata Cloud Manager, you need to activate the appropriate licensing tier—Essentials or Pro.
    • Activate Strata Cloud Manager Essentials: You can activate this licensing tier after setting up your Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
    • Activate Strata Cloud Manager Pro: This tier provides advanced features plus all the Strata Cloud Manager Essentials features. When you activate Strata Cloud Manager Pro, it also includes access to the Strata Logging Service, which comes with one year of log retention and unlimited storage.
    How you activate Strata Cloud Manager Pro depends on the product with which you purchased it. You can activate Strata Cloud Manager Pro independently when you use NGFWs, including VM-Series funded by Software NGFW Credits. Alternatively, you activate Strata Cloud Manager Pro as part of the Prisma Access activation workflow.
    If you were using Strata Cloud Manager before the introduction of these new licensing tiers, your existing licenses for Prisma Access and AIOps for NGFW Premium remain supported. You can continue to amend, extend, or renew these licenses. Additionally, if you're using AIOps for NGFW Free, you have the option to upgrade to AIOps for NGFW Premium.
