Conditions

Use conditions to apply or exclude a rule from an endpoint that matches specific criteria you define.
A condition is an identifying characteristic on the endpoint which you can define to apply or exclude a rule on an endpoint. The type of characteristic depends on the operating system of the endpoint:
  • Windows—Define a condition to match a filename, a filename and file version, or a registry path. You can also define a condition for a specific version of an executable file defined in the file path.
  • Mac—Define a condition to match the bundle path or bundle ID.
  • Linux—Define a condition to match a specific file path, folder path, Linux distribution version, or Linux distribution type.
After you define a condition, you can use it to apply or exclude a rule on an endpoint which matches the specified criteria.
