Many enterprises own and manage essential infrastructure, such as desktops, servers, and databases, that are typically hosted on private networks accessible only to IT-managed devices. The users of these resources often require remote access through protocols such as RDP and SSH. However, in certain situations, these users might not have access to corporate-managed devices, such as when using their own devices (BYOD) or when working as third-party contractors. Despite this, they still need secure and controlled remote access to perform their duties effectively.
Privileged Remote Access (PRA) enables these users to remotely access apps through RDP, SSH, or VNC without installing any additional software such as agents on their unmanaged devices. All you have to do is enable and configure PRA within Prisma Access, and you can take advantage of the security capabilities provided by Prisma Access to secure the PRA traffic between your users' unmanaged devices and your private network.
