Welcome to the Prisma Access (formerly GlobalProtect cloud service) documentation site! Prisma Access helps you deliver consistent security to your remote networks and mobile users. All your users—at headquarters, office branches, and on the road—connect to Prisma Access to safely use the internet and cloud and data center applications. You get protection at scale with global coverage, so you don’t have to worry about things like sizing and deploying firewalls at your branches, or building out and managing appliances in collocation facilities.
There are two ways you can manage Prisma Access: Cloud Managed Prisma Access (using the new Prisma Access app) and Panorama Managed Prisma Access. Before you get started with Prisma Access, you must decide on the management interface you want to use , as you cannot switch management interfaces once you begin. Prisma Access feature support also varies depending on the management interface you're using.
With the COVID-19 outbreak, to promote public health and reduce unnecessary exposure to risk, you may have elected to support your workforce to work from home. If you have a large number of employees working remotely, Prisma Access for Mobile Users provides a scalable way for your remote workers to securely access your organization’s applications and resources - both cloud-based and on-site.
